Kuramathi Maldives
Kuramathi Island Resort – a boutique accommodation aimed at the couples market – free of plastic bottles, but the establishment is also a leader in other areas of conservation. Since 1999, the resort’s Eco Centre has been doing coral reef research and taking care of a coral reef nursery, in addition to offering snorkelling safaris with a trained marine biologist. It also has a hydroponic garden that produces vegetables and makes use of solar energy. The hiring is almost completely from the local communities on the Island. Local produce is procured for the kitchen. Small things like paper straw and coasters show commitment towards nature. With future projects like rainwater harvesting and greenhouse within the premises, the Kuramathi is on its way to becoming a truly green hotel.

A tropical paradise on the earth, Maldives is a beach destination with over 1,190 Islands. Fall in love with its stunning beaches, fringed Islands, and tranquil lagoons. Transfer to your resort by speed boat/seaplane. Check-in at the resort. The day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

We recommend you to do a city tour of the Capital. It is home to one of the world’s loveliest shopping centres and plenty of architectural beauties, including the elegant 17th-century Friday Mosque and the gold-tipped Islamic Centre. Malé has a long waterfront - a nice place to go for a stroll and relax. There’s nothing like hopping around, enjoying the scenes around; marvelling at its incredible features, its serene landscapes, discovering unforgiving terrain all with a silent elegance it radiates. The Grand Friday Mosque, Malé Fish Market, Malé’s National Museum, Tsunami Monument, Hukuru Miskiy, and Mulee-aage Palace are some of the popular sites to see and admire.

Savour a hearty breakfast at the resort. Spend your day at leisure. You are free to explore the Islands on your own.
The morning is best enjoyed taking a morning beach walk. There is nothing more fascinating than waking up on an unspoilt and serene beach. Rise early; watch the first rays of the sun kissing the shoreline of the lovely beaches around. You may choose to take a sunbath on the beach. If you are adventurous enough, we recommend you chose from a variety of water sports like surfing, parasailing, canoeing, sky-diving, wakeboarding to the deep sea, fishing under deep waters or snorkelling. Or you could go for a swim or even do absolutely nothing!
The richness and variety of marine life in the Maldives are simply spectacular! It is a matter of chance, but the Dolphin cruise gives you the best chance of seeing dolphins. Set the pace for the night ahead with a leisurely sunset cruise. You can avail many other varieties of water sports depending on the weather conditions or else you can pamper yourself with an indulgent Spa treatment. Overnight stay at the resort.
