Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese, and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food.

HANOI ARRIVAL

On arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport, meet our ITH representative outside Hanoi Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Check-in at your hotel and day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Hanoi.

Note: Standard check-in time is 14h00/15h00. Early check-in is not included and subject to availability

HANOI - CITY TOUR

Post buffet breakfast at hotel proceed for city tour of Hanoi starting with Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century. Later visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.

  • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
  • Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune - 15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area.

Later Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam. Special Note. Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine lunch at local restaurant After lunch continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century. Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton. Then return to the hotel.

HANOI - NINH BINH - HOA LU - TAM COC

After buffet breakfast at hotel, proceed for Ninh Binh and Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty. Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people. Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Later visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky, and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece that the Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land”. Then return to hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

HANOI - HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

Breakfast at hotel then check out. Transfer to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddy fields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, proceed for check in at overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, you can enjoy swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. You can also enjoy cooking demonstration on cruise before having dinner. Evening attend activities on your cruise or relax at your own leisure. Overnight on the cruise. Please note the program may be little varied upon the cruise you choose.

HALONG BAY CRUISE - HANOI

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the "East Sea" by a point-oriented name "Eastern Sea", so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise is coming back the pier. Disembark from the cruise, transfer back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi city center around 15:00, check in your hotel and relax. Dinner on your own. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

Departure to India

Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred by our driver (no tour guide) to the airport for the flight back to your country
