Delhi – Corbett (By road 260 Kms)
Begin your journey in the morning with a drive from Delhi to Jim Corbett National Park. Established in the year 1936, Jim Corbett National Park is the first national park in the Asian continent. Hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett named the park as he was the one who contributed towards its establishment. Further, this park was also set up to save the critically endangered feline species – the Royal Bengal Tiger. It was the very place where Project Tiger was launched in 1973. Currently Corbett is a home to numerous species of fauna and flora. Upon arrival transfer to your resort to complete check in formalities. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at your Jim Corbett hotel.
Morning Safari
Early morning, set off for a wildlife safari into the Corbett National Park. The early hours of morning are best for sighting tigers. Later, return to the resort for buffet breakfast. Day free to relax at the resort. Overnight stay at Jim Corbett hotel.
Optional Experience: Visit to Garjiya Devi Temple along the Kosi River.
One of the famous Shakti Shrine in Uttarakhand, Garjiya Devi Temple is the holy temple of Garjiya Devi, presiding deity of the temple. Legends belive that Garjiya Devi is the incarnation of Goddess Parwati, Garjiya Devi Temple is at the top of a rock on the riverbed. It actually completes the jungle tour because you travel by road through the woods and by river through the boats, climb few hundred stairs to reach this holy place. This temple makes everyone come back again and again.
Corbett – Nainital (By road 75 Kms)
After buffet breakfast, checkour and drive to Nainital. Situated at a height of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is one of the central of attractions in Uttarakhand. This hill station embraces oodles of natural wonders in its arms and perhaps that is the reason why it attracts so many tourists. Upon arrival check in at your pre booked hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Nainital. Visit the famous Naini Devi temple and Naini lake to enjoy a boat ride. Return to your hotel in the evening. Ovenight stay at Nainital.
Nainital - Bhimtal - Sattal - Nainital
Post buffet breakfast proceed for lake tour to Sattal, Bhimtal, and Naukuchiatal. In the afternoon, visit the Mall road to shop for local souvenirs. Overnight stay at the Nainital hotel.
Optional Experience Nainital Ropeway Panorama
The Aerial Ropeway in Nainital is one of the biggest tourist attractions. With hundreds of visitors flying in each day, aerial ropeway carries people from Mallital to the Snow View Point, one of the popular places to visit in Nainital. This three-minute ride is no less than a dream as it offers you the best bird-eye view of the Nainital City and Naini Lake. Connecting the near flats of the Nainital city to the Snow View Point, this ropeway starts at Mallital and takes around 3 minutes to cover one side of the journey.
