Tromso: Tromsø lies far north, which means that winter normally starts early and lasts for a long time. Many unique experiences are only available this season, including the northern lights, whale watching, skiing, and dog and reindeer sledding. Not to mention, there is plenty of culture to soak up in the capital of the Arctic!

Senja: Senja is located far above the Arctic circle. The northern lights may put on a spectacular show for you, if you are visiting between September and April. One can combine northern lights hunt with a dog sled tour and camping in the pristine wilderness or staying in a lighthouse at Norwegian Wild.
