Delhi – Shimla (By road 375 Kms)
Arrive Delhi airport / railway station and drive to Shimla (350 Kms. / 08 Hrs.) the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Enroute visit Pinjore Gardens or Ropeway at Timber Trail, Parwanoo. Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll on The Mall and the famous Ridge. Ridge is famous for its stunning vistas of the valley and the Christ Church which is the most photographed landmark of Shimla. Overnight in the hotel.
Shimla
After breakfast visit to Jakhu Temple situated on the highest peak of Shimla. After offering prayers and enjoying the panoramic views of Shivalik Ranges proceed to Kufri where you can photograph yourself in hired Pahari or Himachal attires. Enjoy Pony riding or yak riding (at your own cost). Later proceed to Naldhera which is famous for its golf course and scenic beauty. Overnight in the hotel.
Drive to Manali
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for your date with Manali – an amalgamation of natural splendour and rich cultural heritage (242 km/ 8 Hours). En route enjoy a short visit to Kullu. Nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas, Kullu is a veritable jewel in the crown of Himachal Pradesh. The breathtaking beauty of its marvellous landscape, the hospitality of its people, their distinctive lifestyle and rich culture has enthralled travellers for ages. Blessed with pleasant weather throughout the year, the place has the pristine beauty of the Parbati Valley, the teeming biodiversity of the Great Himalayan National Park, the quaint temple architecture of the hills and several enjoyable trekking routes across its breadth and length. In Manali
After breakfast, depart for your sightseeing tour with a visit to Hadimba Devi temple, Manu Temple, Vashisth Bath and Tibetan Monasteries. Time permitting, a visit to Beas Kund and Gauri Shankar temple may also be considered. Overnight stay in Manali.
Excursion to Rohtang Pass
After breakfast depart for Rohtang Pass (subject to weather conditions). Rohtang Pass, about 51 Kms from Manali and located at a height of 3980 mtrs is on the highway to Keylong / Leh. The Pass offers a panoramic and spectacular mountain view. The Pass is open from mid April to November each year. After enjoying this snowy heaven, take a sledge ride down the slopes, and try your luck by climbing the little snow hills. While descending back to Manali, halt at Solang Valley. The magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight here. If time permits, take a stop at Marhi, Ralha Falls, Nehru Kund as well. Overnight stay in Manali.
Manali to Chandigarh
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh (320 Kms. / 08 Hrs.). Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Chandigarh – Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a city tour of Chandigarh. Visit Rock Garden, near Sukhna, consisting of man-made interlinked waterfalls and many other sculptures that have been made beautifully out of scrap and different kinds of wastes (bottles, glasses, bangles, tiles, ceramic pots, sinks, electrical waste, broken pipes, etc.) which are placed in walled paths. Later enjoy boating at Sukhna Lake. By afternoon you are ready to depart for Delhi. Vehicle will drop you at your Home or Airport/Railway station depending upon your choice.
